Today's post is going to be pretty short because we didn't spend much time together as a group. We had our last two lectures this morning at the National University of Ireland at Galway. These two were on innovation and technology transfer in Ireland and logistics in Ireland. The second one ended around 12:30, and then we all had a free day. Our last lecturer, Dr. Mary Dempsey, took Pavel and I to Moran's on the Weir, a famous oyster house with a thatched roof that all dignitaries spending any time in Galway are sure to visit. It definitely felt good to be treated as a dignitary! I know that many of the students were going to use the afternoon to do some shopping, but I haven't heard yet if they were successful or not. Since I don't have any other pictures to post today, I've posted some extra shots of the university and one of Moran's.
Tomorrow we're headed out to the largest of the Aran Islands, Inis Mor. Everyone says that it's beautiful there, so expect some good pictures tomorrow!
