We just returned from our final group dinner in Ireland, and everyone is feverishly packing up so that we all get to bed at a reasonable time. Our bus is coming tomorrow morning at 5am to take us to the airport, and that is going to come very early.
As I mentioned yesterday, today was a free day in Dublin. About half the group went to the Jameson Distillery to complete our alcoholic tour of Dublin. While the rest of us were tasting our drams of whiskey at the end of the tour, Pavel, Ellen, and Matt were chosen to participate in a whiskey taste test between Jameson's and Johnnie Walker (Scotch) and Jack Daniels (Bourbon). At the end of the tasting, they were awarded certificates pronouncing them as "certified whiskey tasters." I'm sure their parents are oh so proud!
That's it for me in Ireland, everyone. I'm off to bed, and I'll sign on from Budapest tomorrow evening!
